i am not sure how to feel about this

too many motifs in this song, probably should just used most of them to make a longer and sounding closer

so yea

just take the remake version of this song. it is a whopping 11:38 and some motifs only get heard once

QueenOfBlueScreens responds:

yeah, i agree. if i end up redoing this, i'll probably end up making it closer to the original song in terms of structure.

this is what happens when you spam the drums and make some crazy research that nobody even knows what is going on. like what? they trying to make a black hole?

anyways its pretty op other than the drums literally destroying so hard it feels rather too sudden lol

SazzyBoi responds:

Is an attemp to make a Speedcore part XD
PD: Thank you for your opinion, I'm going to take note about that :33

honestly the orchestral doesnt fit the dubstep lol, too chill and then suddenly bass boom

edit: ok it is slightly better now lol

Auryle responds:

Hey, is it better now with some sfx and creepy vocals :D?

Also, it is deathstep: listen to Evilwave for context.

Edit: ;D

rip volume lower, lol u made so many tracks as compared to me harmor op yes i agree

the synth for the melody is weird tbh
the growls do not seem distinct enough, then again might be due to lowered volume lol, i still hear abit of of distortion, might be my garbage headphones

itsmevxrto responds:

i use a cheap headset lmao

also clipping is kinda bad

also I rushed a lot of songs back in 2019 and 2020, so maybe that's why

also for the synth, that's only your opinion. for me it sounds just fine

yeah I'm still learning harmor basses

Make a melody and use chords as harmony. This will surely make your things sound better

just think of some random note spam and use chords

note that the chord used must have the first note in the chord

so if its an A note, you can use D, F, or A or whatever minor with that chord

slowly u will get there im nowhere near professional standards too

bombablake13 responds:

Thank you for the feedback, I'll mess around with FL Studio and try to see if I can do something new with your suggestions.

ah yes ffvii, I found the game fun (and sorry ffviii urs is good but too grindy)

anyways just wished the mixing was better it is rather unpleasant to ears

RoboticNarcoleptic responds:

I'll keep an eye on the mixing from now on thanks for the heads up

i see modified of og lol

SazzyBoi responds:

Is a sequel XDD

too repetitive, can be made shorter into 3 mins. bass of piano at beginning could be softer. Adding some harmony with strings wouldve been good as well.

fyi gdash whitelisting artist requires robtop himself to whitelist you. Ive been making for over 2 years still no whitelist oof

vPaff responds:

thanks a lot! :)

i have seen the latest 2 songs, both seem to be similar loops in the whole track, some melodies dont really fit the bass. i recommend you to understand basic music theory which would heavily help you make much nicer sounding melodies.

once you get the hang of making good melodies and chord progressions, it would be much better.

dont give up

Titanical responds:

Thanks for the advice, I will defo use it!

i make banger music
